1. Who we are

Red V Designs (Pty) Ltd ("Red V Designs", "we", "us", "our"), based in Durban, South Africa, operates this website (cargoblocpro.redvdesigns.co.za) to showcase and provide information about CargoBlock Pro, our container-packing and freight-costing software. This policy explains what information this website collects, how it's used, and your rights, in line with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

2. Information collected through this website

This website does not use cookies, tracking scripts, or analytics, and it does not run a contact or trial-request form that submits data to a server. The only third-party resource this site loads is Google Fonts (see Section 6).

When you click "Request a Free Trial," "Contact Sales," an email address, or a phone number on this site, your own device's email application or phone dialler opens. Any information you choose to include — your name, company, email address, phone number, or shipment details — is sent directly to us at info@redvdesigns.co.za, or shared with us by phone. This website itself does not store, process, or have access to that information.

3. How we use the information you send us

Information you send us by email or phone is used only to:

• Respond to your enquiry;
• Prepare and send the correct CargoBlock Pro trial file or product information for your needs;
• Discuss and process an order for a CargoBlock Pro licence; and
• Follow up on an active trial, or contact you ahead of a licence renewal.

We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. How long we keep your information

We retain enquiry and customer correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary to manage our relationship with you — including ongoing licence support and renewal reminders — and in line with our standard business record-keeping practices. You can ask us to delete your information at any time; see Section 7.

5. The CargoBlock Pro software itself

CargoBlock Pro — the 2D or 3D, Browser or Desktop software licensed to customers — runs entirely offline on the customer's own device. It has no login, no cloud connection, and no server component: cargo, shipment, and client data entered into the software never leaves that device and is never transmitted to Red V Designs or anyone else.

This privacy policy covers this marketing website only. It does not apply to data you enter into your own licensed copy of CargoBlock Pro, which never leaves your machine.

6. Third-party services

This website loads typefaces from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com). Loading a font may involve your browser contacting Google's servers directly, which can log standard technical information such as your IP address, as part of how Google delivers fonts. No other third-party scripts, advertising networks, or analytics platforms are used on this site. See Google's Privacy Policy for more detail.

7. Your rights under POPIA

As a South African company, we handle personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). You have the right to:

• Ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you;
• Request a copy of that information;
• Ask us to correct or delete it; and
• Object to how it's used.
